Sacraments

Baptism

  • The first and third Sundays of the month at 2:00 PM.
  • Baptism preparation class meets on the second Tuesday of the month, in the church at 7:30 PM. The meeting is conducted by Deacon Tom. Parents are expected to attend. Godparents are also encouraged to attend.


Reconciliation

  • Saturday, 3:30 PM
  • Advent & Lenten communal reconciliation services will be announced.
  • Children receive First Reconciliation in 2nd grade.


Communion

  • The Holy Eucharist is central to our Catholic Faith.
  • Children receive First Communion in 2nd grade.


Confirmation

  • Children are confirmed in 8th Grade. For information about confirmation for adults, please contact Father Anthony Taschetta at the Parish Office.


Marriage

  • The couple must be free to marry in the Catholic Church.
  • Arrangements should be made at least six months before the marriage.
  • Please contact Father Anthony Taschetta at the Parish Office.


Anointing of the Sick

  • Anointing of the sick is for anyone who is ill or facing surgery, or for anyone of advanced age. There is an annual Mass including the celebration of this sacrament for anyone who wishes to attend. In times of emergency, please contact Father Anthony Taschetta and arrangements will be made for the sacrament to be administered.


Holy Orders

  • Anyone interested in learning more about Holy Orders should contact Father Anthony Taschetta at the Parish Office.
  • While only Priests and Permanent Deacons receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders, there are other vocations to ministerial service in the Church, including Religious Life and Lay Ecclesial Ministry. For more information, please contact Father Anthony Taschetta at the Parish Office.
